Brand new HP Pavilion X2 (11-h003sa). When I stream video over the network (Netflix, YouTube etc) there's an annoying intermittent crackling/static noise. This completely ruins any chance of enjoying the media. I bought this unit because it was branded with "Beats Audio", thinking that the sound quality would be awesome. Instead, the audio is rubbish.
Note: if I play video locally (i.e. save a YouTube video to the hard drive), then there is no crackling. It only seems to happen when streaming video content.
I have upgraded to Windows 8.1 and have downloaded all the latest drivers.
If there is no solution to this problem, could someone please explain how I would go about getting a refund for this unit (which is a few days old), and this is a pretty serious defect.
