i am trying to customize my sound when i listen to music through headphones but once i connect it the control panel for bang & olufsen greys out so i can't make changes to it, whatever it is set i can just increase or decrease the volume. I did uninstall the audio driver and reinstalled it again but same result and i don't see any posts on the net as well so i would really appreciate if i can get help on this

Reinstalled windows 7 becauase of the many issues that I was having with windows 10. After the reinstallation I am unable to play any audio files or get any sound from the speakers. I have checked to make sure the sound driver was up to date and have even tried rolling it back to a previous version and still nothing.
I cannot connect via bluetooth to a UE Boom 2 speaker.
I see the speaker, represented as a pair of headphones not a spekaer, in my bluetooth devices. When I try to connect I receive an "Error establishing connection" message.
My sound dialog window does not bring up a "Hands free audio" option.

I recently just got the HP Pavilion x360 with B&O speakers, as a gift (1.12.16). When I started playing videos with audio on, I noticed that every few minutes or so, it would start to slow and kind of 'crack'.
I've looked at many forums from the community on how to fix it; I have rolled back the driver and have also changed the sample rate the the highest (I think) one, though it is still cracking. I listen to a lot of things with audio, so this is quite a big problem to me.
I would happily appreciate any answers.

I have an HP Envy laptop with the Beats speakers. The speakers will randomly turn off and they cannot be adjusted with the volume controls after the sound quits. The only way to get the sound to work again (that I know of) is to restart the computer, but it is only a temporary fix. I have tried restarting the Windows audio service a couple times but that did nothing. Thank you for your help
I just got my Envy 17 with windows 10 back from HP because I couldn't get the jack, which is an input and output to work as an "Iny". I have cassettes I want to copy to my pc but I can't find a free program to do this. My old pc which was also a windows 10 worked but I don't seem to be able to do it on this one. Can anyone walk me through?
I have an external USB audio interface that I use to play music through and during playback there is crackling and poping.
Seems like DPC Latency.
All drivers both for the computer and interface are up to date. Occurs both when plugged directly into computer and while using thunderbolt docking station.
Any suggestsions/solutions?

The 'up' volume button on the side of my laptop (Pavilion x360) seems to be stuck. I tried pressing the button and restarting my laptop in hope to fix it but it didn't work at all. I thought it was a problem with the RealTek Audio installed to my laptop. I tried countless ways to fix RealTek audio, but that also didn't work. So there is probably a physical problem. On my laptop, there is three ways to change the volume. The button on the keyboard, the button on the side of my laptop and the speaker icon on the screen. There was no problem with the volume buttons on the keyboard and there is no problem with RealTek Audio. I found out that the side volume button is jammed. What can I do to fix it?

The internal speakers of my laptop(model AU003TX) are not working properly. Any sudden change in volume or hitting spacebar repeatedly while playing music/video causes the sound volume to drop to inaudible levels.
The sound level then persists at that level, until i do some tweaking in sound->playback devices->default->properties->advanced. But this problem of volume drop persists. I even updated my audio driver. But i still dont have any permanent solution to this annoying problem. B&O speakers in HP laptop has not been a good experience for me.
Any solution to this problem?

Since I upgraded to Windows 10 I do not get sound through my HDMI output. When I look at playback devices I only see speakers. Even when I say show disabled and disconnected devices nothing shows but the speakers. The video plays well and the sound comes out of the speakers. I have tried to check for lates drivers but see no change. Please help.

I have re-installed all drivers after window re-install - all are OK except Audio, Speaker symbol on taskbar appears with red X, device manager shows under Other Devices, Audio Device on High Definition Audio Bus and Unknown Device. Right click on Audio device/Properties shows n says 'No drivers are installed for this device'. I have tried installing the audio driver from HP site which is for Realtek but same result - I have also tried installing AMD as the laptop has AMD graphics card - same result - I have been trying for 3 days now. Any assistance please.
When i connect my headphones.. it plays on the speaker as well... i dont want that, help..

I tried to plug in my apple headphone in the headphone slot of spectre 13 laptop. BUt it does not get in fully. Do i need to push it hard?
I purchased a brand new laptop with DTS audio installed. Of course not long after first power up come the dozens of updates. After one Windows update, I got the dreaded red X over the speaker icon and "no audio output device is installed" message. I visited the HP site and installed the only audio driver listed for this model is Realtek HD. I installed that driver and the speaker was restored but now instead of DTS I have the much more limited HD. In the start menu is a link to the DTS audio control panel but when you click on that it takes you to Realtek HD. How do I restore to factory audio (and therefore DTS)?
I think my laptop dosen't have bluetooth how do I get it ?

I am unable to get analog sound through a usb port into audacity on my HP ENVY 15t-j100 Select Edition. Do I need conversion software? When I record there is no sound.
Also my Beats audio disappeared, possibly after the recent Windows 10 update. Is this possibly related? I cannot access advanced audio options. There had been additional realtek options when choosing device sound source etc.
Also new Apps from the windows store apps will not work or load.
Any advice?
